Capital City Surgery Center (CCSC) is an independent, fully-licensed Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) that opened in June 2012 providing multi-specialty outpatient surgical services to Triangle area residents (the Triangle commonly refers to Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill and its surrounding communities).

CCSC was formed as a joint venture between WakeMed Health & Hospitals, community-based physicians throughout the Triangle area, and Compass Surgical Partners. Although we are in close proximity to Wake Medical Center, we are totally independent. Many of our physicians work at our center, as well as WakeMed, and we also have many private practice surgeons from other local community hospitals.

Our state-of-the-art facility provides the highest quality and convenient outpatient surgery options for patients, in a much more cost-effective setting than a hospital setting.

Our Center adheres to some of the most rigid quality control standards in the country, as evidenced by our compliance with Medicare certification requirements and our adherence to guidelines established by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC).
